About Us
The Park
Built in 1937, Haw Par Villa, Singapore’s largest outdoor art gallery is the brainchild of Aw Boon Haw, the millionaire philanthropist and marketing extraordinaire who gifted the world Tiger Balm.
The eclectic park is a treasure trove of Asian culture, history, philosophy and religion – quirky yet enlightening, at the same time.
From 2015 till 7 December 2025, the park was managed by Journeys Pte Ltd, an award-winning heritage specialist passionate in preserving and bringing the heritage gem to greater heights.

Haw Par Villa Pte Ltd
Haw Par Villa Pte Ltd was set up by its associate companies, Singapore History Consultants (SHC) and Journeys Pte Ltd (JPL) to manage the award-winning Hell’s Museum since 2021.
Its passionate team comprises historians, researchers, educators, writers, and guides who specialise in enriching experiences.
SHC and JPL have a 30-year proven track record in the successful management of cultural and heritage sites, including The Battle Box, The Changi Museum, Chinatown Heritage Centre and Haw Par Villa. Drawing on their combined expertise and capabilities, all visitors to Hell’s Museum are assured of an enriching experience.
