Docent cum Visitor Services Officer
1. Job Scope
- Delivering a high-quality and informative tour that is educational, interactive and entertaining
- Offering the highest levels of customer service in the visitor centre (sales and visitor enquiries)
- Undertaking site management, day-to-day operations, and facility checks
- Being responsible for crowd management during tours and events
- Undertaking directed research work from time to time
2. Bonus points if you
- Have prior experience of working in a customer-facing role
- Have previous sales experience
- Are fluent in 2 or more languages
3. You’ll be ideal for the role if you
- Are friendly and approachable with very good communication skills
- Possess an excellent command of spoken English
- Are committed to providing outstanding customer service
- Have a passion for history and a flair for sharing it with others
- Are self-motivated and keen to succeed
- Are physically active and enjoy working both outdoors and indoors
4. Working Hours
- 5 day work week (including weekends & public holidays) - based on roster system
